All of my 3D work gets saved as FBX.
It is a royal pain in the ass to be unable to view them in the 3D viewer, which is by far the easiest way to see them at a glance.
I'm a 3D artist, and don't really want to put my PC at risk by enabling FBX viewing, but there doesn't seem to be any alternatives to allow me to quickly view a model and see what it is. Opening and closing files in the 3D software is way more time consuming.
Sorry if i sound blunt and miffed, cus i kinda am, this has been an issue since Feb 2024, and its still unaddressed as far as i'm aware. FBX is the core file format, and it can't support it??
Morning all,
I am 19 years old and currently earn roughly £33,500 annually. Around (27.4 post tax).
Obviously this is quite a sum on money for my age and I was hoping for some advice on budgeting it. I am currently saving for a flat and have an LISA open that is currently maxed out. I of course want to be smart with my money but I also want to live whilst I’m young and was hoping for some advice on how to balance those figures properly. Of course I’m hoping to save around £7.5-10k per year where I can. ( no current extravagant expenses) but I also want to go and see the world etc… I know that prioritising that may come to haunt me in the future if I’m not smart.

Does anybody have issues with the battery drain on Macbook Air M3? I bought mine in June last year, had a great battery life up until last month. It now drains very fast with light use, battery life dropped from 100% to 96% in one month. I'm using it for emails mostly.
Hi - Fuji / Panasonic refugee here. Absolutely love my Z6iii and have used it on a range of client photography and videography over the past 3 or so months. HOWEVER, I have one major gripe that came to my attention on Monday. Forced DX mode when using DX lenses. I purchased a Sirui 40mm T1.8 anamorphic autofocus lens, which has a beautiful image and happily covers a full frame image circle, despite 'technically' being a S35 lens. However, even though you can clearly see that the lens covers the entire circle as you're putting it on, as soon as the contacts are detected by the camera, it crops into DX. You can't change this setting. On Sony cameras you can use APS-C lenses and choose whether or not you want it to automatically crop in. I understand that in the majority of use cases anyone using an APS-C lens on a full frame body would opt for the crop, but removing the option to choose yourself is infuriating. Niche, but annoying!

Good Morning! Advice/guidance needed please: a post office van reversed into our Honda civic 2011 couple of weeks ago and this resulted in a big bent on the passenger front door. As we look at it, this is the only thing got damaged but we were wondering if the frame between the two doors were affected as well. How can we figure this out? (car mechanic/body shop? ) If needs to be taken to a bodyshop, how much it would cost roughly to fix this? I was quoted around £1000 to change the door and fix the supporting frame (IF needs to be) This price does not include a new door. (Our insurer will write off the car and we can buy it back, so we are dealing with that - they don't want to get this fixed as it is a 14 year old car) . Many thanks.

Recently I’ve been continuing to have a really bad lag problem, I’m on console and my boyfriend is on computer and he has not experienced it at all, but it’s all I’ve been experiencing since about 3 days ago. I don’t know what to do and because of the lag it makes the game completely unplayable, does anyone have any suggestions or answers of what I should do?
A very basic search engine simply called "search engine" who claims to be "enhanced by Google."

Can't wait to return to KCD2 after work today, loving it! The only issue I have is reading text in the menus. Especially all longer texts describing quests etc. are coming with super weak contrast and therefore really hard to read while inventory seems a lot darker than in KCD1. Changing graphics mode doesn't make a difference, playing on PS5 and not planning to replace my 75" UHD LED with an OELD. ;) Is it my TV or my eyes only?

I'm having paranoia about being stalked again. I keep thinking that I pissed of these dangerous people when I was manic and that they have people all over the city and they are trying to get me alone so they can kill me.
I know that this is a delusion, but at the same time what if I am not delusional and all the signs I'm seeing are real. I've noticed people at the bar I got to avoiding me or getting weird with me and honestly I don't know what I did. I know I can be difficult to be around sometimes because of my big personality, but I always try to be a good listener, support other people and not lash out at people. I've even had people in the past say that I am good at "checking myself" I just always end up slightly crossing a line because I don't have the same ability to sense social norms as other people.
